HJR 160 (BR 2379) - M. Cherry
Request that the Kentucky Department of Education provide education and training to school personnel regarding the use of psychotropic drugs as a part of children's treatment; urge the Cabinet for Families and Children to ensure that a parent's refusal to allow a child to receive psychotropic drugs as a part of treatment not be used as the sole ground for taking a child into custody; and request that the Kentucky Commission on Services and Support for Individuals with Mental Illness, Alcohol, and Other Drug Abuse Disorders, and Dual Diagnoses, and Regional Mental Health Planning Councils study the issues relating to psychotropic drugs in Kentucky.
