Urge teachers and administrators to schedule time at the beginning of each day for students to voluntarily recite the pledge of allegiance to the flag and to recite an excerpt from the Declaration of Independence and to include age-appropriate curriculum instruction to teach students enrolled in grades three through twelve the meaning of early American historical developments; request the Kentucky Department of Education to provide copies of the Declaration of Independence to local school districts.
