SB 138/FN (BR 1776) - J. Denton
AN ACT relating to property tax.
Amend KRS 134.450 to provide that in a county containing a city of the first class, certificates of delinquency shall be filed in the county clerk's office within 14 days after a tax sale; amend KRS 134.500 to allow a county to exclude add-on fees from the interest calculation if the county has enacted an ordinance to exclude the fees.

SCS/FN - Retain original provisions but clarify that the filing of certificates of delinquency in the county clerk's office by the sheriff in a county containing a city of the first class is 14 working days from the date of sale rather than 14 days; EMERGENCY.

HCS/FN - Amend to provide that in a county containing a city of the first class or consolidated local government that certificates of delinquency shall be filed in the county clerk's office within 14 days after a tax sale and to provide that in a county containing a city of the first class or consolidated local government the add-on fees are excluded from the interest calculation.
