SB 188 (BR 1266) - R. Palmer II, E. Tori
AN ACT relating to eligibility for high school diplomas.
Amend KRS 158.140 to direct the commissioner of education to award high school diplomas to veterans of World War II who were discharged under other than dishonorable conditions and who were enrolled in, but did not complete, high school prior to their service in the Armed Forces of the United States during World War II.
SB 188 - AMENDMENTS
SCA (1, R. Palmer II) - Require a local board of education rather than the commissioner of education to award a diploma.
SCA (2, R. Palmer II) - Make condition for awarding of diploma an honorable discharge rather than a discharge under other than dishonorable conditions.
SFA (3, T. Buford) - Add eligibility for veterans of the Korean conflict and the Vietnam conflict.
