SB 210 (BR 2291) - D. Boswell

     AN ACT relating to the Kentucky Board of Education.
     Amend KRS 156.070 to require the Kentucky Board of Education to require an agency or organization designated to manage interscholastic athletics to adopt bylaws establishing 2 nonpublic school member representatives on the agency's or organization's board of control.

SB 210 - AMENDMENTS


     SFA (1, J. Pendleton) - Permit students over 19 years of age with unique circumstances to appeal the age limitation for playing school sports.

     HFA (1, K. Hall) - Direct the Kentucky Board of Education, from the representatives it appoints, to appoint 2 representatives of nonpublic member schools to the board of control of any agency or organization designated by the state board to manage interscholastic athletics.

     HFA (2, R. Palumbo) - Require two representatives of nonpublic member schools within the four at-large appointments by the Kentucky Board of Education, one representing a nonpublic parochial school and one representing a nonparochial school.
