AN ACT relating to dog licenses.
     Amend KRS 258.135 to allow counties to choose to issue an alternate state dog license; amend KRS 258.145 to allow counties to issue an alternate state dog license and prescribe the means of this alternate license, including use of the rabies tag as the alternate license; retain the license fee collection and retention process between the state and the counties; exempt the alternate state dog licenses issued by the counties from the one year expiration required of state dog licenses.
