AN ACT relating to cities and counties.
     Amend KRS 68.197 to extend the sunset provision from 2002 to 2004 prohibiting a credit for city license fees against county license fees unless a credit was allowed previous to January 1, 2000 or if the county imposed or raised a license fee after January 1, 2000; amend KRS 91A.080 to extend the sunset provision from 2002 to 2004 prohibiting insurance companies a credit against the county license fee or tax for that portion of a city license fee or tax that becomes effective for the first time on or after July 1, 2000 or is increased on or after July 1, 2000; establish legislative findings for the re-formation of the Advisory Committee on City and County Relations; establish membership; specify the committee report to LRC by August 1, 2003; provide LRC authority to reassign issues to an interim joint committee or subcommittee and designate a completion date.
