AN ACT relating to special license plates.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 186 to create a special CHOOSE LIFE license plate; establish minimum number of 900 applications and establish $53 fee.
SB 255 - AMENDMENTS
SCS/LM - Retain provisions of original bill with the following exceptions: remove all references to the Family Foundation; replace the term "crisis pregnancy center" with "pregnancy care center;" and direct that extra funds for licenses after the first 900 plates go to the Kentucky Association of Pregnancy Care.
SFA (1, J. Pendleton) - Change CHOOSE LIFE license plate to CHOOSE LIFE OR CHOOSE CHOICE license plate; direct that registration fees after the first 900 applicants go to local county health departments; give Transportation Cabinet responsibility to design the plates.
