AN ACT relating to pharmacy dispensing fees and declaring an emergency.
     Amend KRS 205.561 to require a study on the dispensing of prescription medications to Medicaid recipients every three years instead of annually; require the study to be considered in determining dispensing fees; amend KRS 205.6316 to require the Cabinet for Health Services to establish a dispensing fee for each prescription considering the finding of the research study; freeze the dispensing fee at the current rate until the end of the 2003-2004 fiscal year, or until the next report and research study has been completed and the Cabinet for Health Services has established a new dispensing fee; EMERGENCY.
