AN ACT relating to child booster seats.
Amend KRS 189.125, regarding seat belts and child restraint devices, to require drivers to properly secure all children less than 8 years old and less than 4 feet, 9 inches tall in a child booster seat unless no proper seating position for a booster seat is available; clarify that a violation of the infant restraint law is a primary offense and that child booster seat violations and seat belt violations are secondary offenses; define the term "child booster seat"; make technical corrections.
