AN ACT relating to state government.
Amend various sections in KRS Chapter 2, relating to state citizenship and official state emblems of the Commonwealth.
HB 247 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Delete original provisions of bill and insert new sections to amend KRS 12.210 to require consultation with Attorney General before state government employs an outside attorney; amend KRS 12.213 to provide that employment of legal defense of government employees be done with the advice of the Attorney General; amend KRS 15.020, 15.060, 48.005, and 367.370 to remove civil settlements obtained by the Attorney General from coverage of the Charitable Asset Administration Board; amend KRS 15.280 to place the Criminal Justice Statistical Analysis Center in the Office of the Attorney General; amend KRS 65.260 to provide for Attorney General review of interlocal agreements; and create a new section of KRS Chapter 454 to provide a procedure for review and approval relating to consent decrees entered into by state agencies.
