AN ACT relating to optometrists.
Amend KRS 320.321 to authorize agents of the Kentucky Board of Optometric Examiners to administer oaths, enter optometric offices and other locations, interrogate persons, and seize evidence or to endorse the provisions of KRS Chapter 320; authorize the board to restrain and enjoin the practice of optometry by individuals who violate KRS 320.300, 320.310, or 320.312, and file petitions for injunction to prevent the unlawful practice of optometry.
HB 250 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Retain original provisions of bill, except create new section with language from amended section to authorize board to restrain and enjoin the practice of optometry for unlicensed individuals or entities engaged in the practice of optometry; amend KRS 320.990 to include a fine for a violation of up to $5,000.
