HB 26 (BR 206) - M. Marzian, R. Meeks, T. Riner, S. Westrom
      AN ACT relating to a consistent public policy for the provision of services to persons with disabilities and the frail elderly.
     	Create new sections of KRS Chapters 48 and 205 to state a public policy providing rights and responsibilities to persons with disabilities and the frail elderly. 
 
HB 26 - AMENDMENTS 
      HCS - Retain original provisions and add a new section to amend KRS 337.010 to exclude persons providing adult foster care services from the definition of employee under wage and hour requirements.
       SCS - Amend to provide for an expression of preferences, rather than rights, concerning individual independence, individual choice, education, a timely evaluation, appropriate community-based services, a high quality of care, and fiscally sound programs.
