AN ACT relating to fire safety.
Amend KRS 227.336 to require the state fire marshal to charge $50 for the third inspection and each inspection thereafter to determine if a property owner has made required fire safety corrections; require adjustment of the $50 charge based on changes in the consumer price index.

HCS - Amend KRS 227.336 to require the state fire marshal to charge $100 for a third inspection, $200 for a fourth inspection, and $500 for fifth and subsequent inspections to determine if a property owner has made required fire safety corrections; require the fees to be credited to the Office of the State Fire Marshal and payable to the fire department conducting the inspection; establish that violation not found during initial inspection be treated as an initial violation.
