AN ACT relating to licensing of primary care centers.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 216B to authorize licensed primary care centers to contract with boards of education to provide school-based health care programs; specify requirements for the programs.
HB 328 - AMENDMENTS
HCS/FN - Retain original provisions, except delete the requirement that a satellite school-based health care program provided by a primary care center be staffed full-time by a physician, physician assistant, or advanced registered nurse practitioner; and place a moratorium on the establishment of additional satellite school-based health care programs by primary care centers until August 1, 2004.
HFA (1, S. Westrom) - Retain original provisions, except require a primary care center that enters into an agreement with a board of education to provide a school-based health care program to be a not-for-profit center that participates in the KenPAC program.
