AN ACT relating to limited health benefit plans.
     Create a new section of Subtitle 17A of KRS Chapter 304 to allow an insurer to offer limited health benefit plans to small groups; provide that a limited health benefit plan excludes all or designated mandated health benefits; require the insurer to provide the prospective policyholder with a disclosure statement that the plan does not include mandated health benefits; provide that the disclosure statement shall list all mandated health benefits and be signed by the prospective policyholder; provide that this section does not affect the requirement that an insurer in the small group market must offer the standard plan.
