HB 417 (BR 1471) - S. Baugh
AN ACT relating to boilers.
Amend KRS 236.060, relating to prescribed steam or vapor boilers and hot water heating boilers, to apply the provisions of the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Safety Act to all apartment houses, and require hot water supply boilers in private residences and all apartments to also comply with the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Safety Act; amend KRS 236.120 to increase from $15 to $25 the boiler inspection fee paid; and amend KRS 236.210 to require all persons engaged in the business of installing, erecting, or repairing boilers, including contractor-installers of boilers, to be licensed as prescribed.
