HB 467 (BR 1530) - F. Nesler, J. Gray
AN ACT relating to traffic regulations.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 189, relating to traffic regulations, to exempt a vehicle with 80,000 pound tags or less from axle weight provisions when operating on any state-maintained highway, if the load being hauled is 79,999 pounds or less; require the operator of the vehicle to have written documentation verifying the load is 79,999 pounds or less.
HB 467 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Retain the provisions of the original bill and clarify that the axle weight exemption is for a vehicle being operated on a state-maintained highway that is classified as a AAA highway.
