AN ACT relating to retirement.
Amend KRS 61.637, relating to reemployment after retirement, to void the retirement of an elected official who resigns from office and is reemployed in a position contributing to the same retirement system within 12 months; require member to repay benefits received and to contribute to previous retirement account.
HB 61 - AMENDMENTS
HCS/AA - Apply restriction to officials retiring on or after July 1, 2003.
HFA (1, B. Yonts) - Void retirement only if employed in an elected position.
