HB 74/LM (BR 320) - R. Damron
AN ACT relating to the insurance premium tax.
Amend KRS 91A.080 to exempt premiums paid to insurers of municipal bonds, leases, or other debt instruments issued by or on behalf of political subdivisions of the Commonwealth, including local governments, special districts, and nonprofit corporations, from the insurance premium tax.
HB 74 - AMENDMENTS
HFA (1, R. Damron) - Specify that the exemption in subsection (14) shall not apply if the bonds, leases, or other debt instruments are issued for profit or on behalf of for-profit or private organizations.
