SB 107 (BR 1111) - R. Roeding
AN ACT relating to requests for federal approval of changes to the Kentucky Medicaid program.
Create a new section of KRS 205.510 to 205.630 to require the Cabinet for Health Services to provide a copy, summary, and statement of benefits of an application for waiver, waiver amendment, or plan amendment to the Interim Joint Committee on Health and Welfare and the Interim Joint Committee on Appropriations and Revenue concurrently with submitting the application for waiver, waiver amendment, or plan amendment to the federal government; require quarterly updates.
SB 107 - AMENDMENTS
HFA (1, T. Burch) - Retain original provisions, except add that the Cabinet for Health Services may adopt a different confidential system to be used by health care providers to report cases of HIV, consistent with the Federal Ryan White CARE Act Amendments of 2000.

HFA (5, T. Turner) - Retain original provisions and add a section to amend KRS 216B.020 to exempt acute care facilities that provide specified services, are in counties with a population over 55,000, and have approval from local officials from certificate of need requirements.
