AN ACT relating to school council members.
Amend KRS 160.345 to remove redundant language related to the time period for completing the required training for school council members.
SB 134 - AMENDMENTS
HFA (1, J. Jenkins) - Provide that experienced school council members may participate in new member training to fulfill their training requirements.
HFA (2, T. Pullin) - Amend KRS 158.070 to require that time added to the length of the school day due to weather, illness, or other emergency be calculated as equivalent time to be applied toward the required 175 instructional days for certified personnel.
HFA (3/Title, T. Pullin) - Make title amendment.
HFA (4, T. Pullin) - Amend KRS 158.070 to require that time added to the length of the school day due to weather, illness, or other emergency be calculated as equivalent time to be applied toward the required 175 instructional days for certified personal; require that the additional time shall also be calculated as equivalent time to be applied toward the calculation of service credit for retirement under KRS 161.500.
