AN ACT relating to absentee ballots.
Amend KRS 117.087 to require the counting of absentee ballots to begin at 10 a.m. on election day; prohibit disclosure of results of absentee voting prior to 6 p.m. on election day.
SB 161 - AMENDMENTS
HFA (1, J. Gray) - Prohibit the release of any absentee ballot results before 6 p.m. local time; amend KRS 117.995 to establish a penalty for early release of absentee ballot results as a Class D felony.
HFA (2, J. Gray) - Prohibit the release of any absentee ballot results before 6 p.m. local time; amend KRS 117.995 to establish a penalty for early release of absentee ballot results as a Class A misdemeanor.
