AN ACT relating to the affordability of health insurance coverage under preferred provider arrangements.
Create new sections of Subtitles 17, 17A, and 18 of KRS Chapter 304 to allow insurers to offer health insurance policies, health benefit plans, and group health insurance contracts which utilize a preferred provider arrangement that is not subject to any law or other restriction that prescribes or limits the level of reimbursement for contracted health care providers or noncontracted health care providers, including any deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, or other cost-sharing provisions.
