AN ACT relating to limited health benefit plans.
     Create a new section of Subtitle 17A of KRS Chapter 304 to allow small groups to purchase limited health benefit plans that exclude mandated health insurance benefits; require a written disclosure statement be given to and signed by the prospective policyholder; require the disclosure statement to clearly state that mandated health insurance benefits are not covered by the limited health benefit plan; provide that this Act shall not affect the requirement that the insurer must offer the standard plan.
