AN ACT relating to county clerks.
Amend KRS 64.012 to include photocopying as a fee of $.50 per page.
SB 187 - AMENDMENTS
SCA (1, A. Robinson) - Replace the requirement that the county clerk receive $.50 per page for photocopies of any record with permission for the county clerk to receive a maximum of $.50 per page for photocopies of any record.
SFA (1, W. Blevins) - Permit individual to use portable photographic or imaging device to copy documents; clerk may not charge fee unless individual uses electricity.
HCS/LM - Retain original provisions of the bill; amend 382.110 to require that the county clerk to record on the deed the date and time of any changes made to the deed and record the deed book number and page number or place of recordation of the original document; create new sections in KRS Chapter 65 to require the Department of Local Government to create an advisory committee to establish and implement a uniform indexing system for all records; establish a specific procedure for the preparation and filing of legal documents to be used by all county clerks.
HFA (1, C. Geveden) - Change amendment of KRS 382.110 to require the clerk to stamp on deeds, mortgages, and other instruments the date, time, and place of recordation.
