AN ACT relating to tuition waivers for principals.
Amend KRS 164.2845 to provide tuition waivers at public universities up to a maximum of six credit hours per semester for principals and assistant principals; require each public postsecondary education institution to establish the procedures for implementing the provisions by August 1, 2003.
SB 37 - AMENDMENTS
SCS - Delete original provisions; create a new section of KRS Chapter 164 to provide that when funds are provided in the biennial budget to reimburse the public postsecondary institutions for the requirements of this section, school principals and assistant principals may, with prior approval of the course-offering institution, take a maximum of 6 credit hours per term at any public postsecondary institution and pay no tuition.
