SB 81 (BR 1080) - G. Tapp

     AN ACT relating to pesticide use and application.
     Amend KRS 217B.170 to require only motorized or mechanized pieces of ground equipment that are subject to calibration or inspection under KRS 217B.160 to be registered and charged a $10 fee by the Department of Agriculture.

SB 81 - AMENDMENTS


     SCS - Clarify that handheld or backpack sprayers and ground-driven equipment that is propelled by hand are not required to register or pay a fee to the Department of Agriculture.

     HFA (1, D. Ford) - Permit an election precinct to hold a local option election to prohibit the use of tobacco products in public buildings other than governmental office buildings and workplaces.

     HFA (2/Title, D. Ford) - Make title amendment.
