AN ACT relating to domestic relations.
Amend KRS 403.190 to provide that marital property is deemed to be acquired between the date a marriage begins and the date a petition for dissolution or separation is filed and to provide that debt incurred by a spouse subsequent to the filing of a petition for dissolution or separation be rebuttably presumed to be the debt of that spouse only.

HCS - Amend to state that marital property may not be converted to non-marital property by one spouse acting alone.

HFA (1, G. Lindsay) - Amend to clarify that the prohibition on the conversion of marital property to non-marital property applies only after an action for divorce or separation is filed.
