AN ACT relating to Phase II tobacco settlement funding, appropriating funds therefor, and declaring an emergency.
Authorize state bond funds to provide Phase II Tobacco Settlement funding.
HB 132 - AMENDMENTS
HCS/FN - Retain the provisions of HB 132; empower Kentucky Tobacco Settlement Trust Corporation to issue bonds and distribute bond proceeds; provide that beneficiaries assign rights to future moneys from on-going litigation or Congressional action up to the amount of moneys received under this Act; provide income tax exemption status for moneys received under this Act.
