HB 167 (BR 937) - R. Adkins

     AN ACT relating to the Office of the Attorney General.
     Amend KRS 15.010, relating to organizational units within the Department of Law, to create a Kentucky Bureau of Investigation Department, an Office of Consumer Protection, and an Office of Criminal Appeals; eliminate the Division of Special Investigations, the Division of Financial Integrity, the Division of Consumer Protection, and the Criminal Appellate Division; amend various other sections to conform; confirm Attorney General Executive Order AG 04-01, dated September 30, 2004; give directions to reviser of statutes.

     HCS - Retain original provisions of the bill except in Section 1 by placing the Child Support Enforcement Commission among the offices within the Attorney General's Department of Law organizational units and deleting the subsection pertaining to commissions in that department.
