     AN ACT relating to Kentucky National Guard and Reserve death benefits, declaring an emergency, and making an appropriation therefore.
     Amend KRS 61.315 to require that the State Treasurer pay death benefits in the amount of $75,000 when a member of the Kentucky National Guard or Reserve dies on federal active duty; make an appropriation in the amount of $225,000 to carry out the provisions of the Act; make amendment to KRS 61.315 retroactive to July 1, 2002; declare an EMERGENCY.
