AN ACT relating to agriculture.
Amend KRS 248.721 to allow, rather than require, county councils to receive assistance from the board; allow a county council to approve or disapprove applications for funding from its county account and require the councils to report all approved applications to the board within 60 days of approval; require councils to submit applications to the board if the councils choose not to approve or disapprove applications; give sovereign immunity protection to councils and their members; amend KRS 248.709 to conform.
