AN ACT relating to purchase of surplus right-of-way property.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 176 to require Department of Highways to determine if surplus right-of-way property is needed or may be sold within 90 days of payment for the property; reduce price for surplus right-of-way property after 90 days; amend KRS 45A.050 to require Finance and Administration Cabinet secretary to sign deed for transfer within 10 days of request; require Turnpike Authority to meet within 5 days of request to consider surplus right-of-way transfer.
