AN ACT relating to county clerks and making an appropriation therefor.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 138 to create a fund in the State Treasury to be known as the "county clerk motor vehicle registration supplement fund"; specify that disbursements shall be made quarterly by the State Treasurer for the purpose of supplementing county clerks' commissions for registering motor vehicles; require the Transportation Cabinet to deposit monthly 3% of the tax collected under KRS 138.463 into the fund; disburse funds equally to counties having a population of 18,000 or less.
