     AN ACT relating to absentee voting.
     Amend KRS 117.075 to allow county clerks to send absentee ballots to voters by facsimile; amend KRS 117.085 to provide guidelines for transmission of absentee ballot application and absentee ballot to voter by facsimile and guidelines for voter to return absentee ballot application and absentee ballot by mail; amend KRS 117.086 to conform; amend KRS 117.0863 to establish criteria for the voter verification sheet sent with an absentee ballot by facsimile; amend KRS 117.087 to conform.

     HCS/LM - Retain provisions of the original bill as they relate to distribution of absentee ballot applications by facsimile; amend to delete all references to distribution of absentee ballots by facsimile; amend to delete Sections 1, 4, and 5 of original bill.
