     AN ACT relating to utilization review.
     Amend KRS 304.17A-600 pertaining to health insurance utilization review to clarify the definition of "urgent care"; amend KRS 304.17A-607 to provide timeframes for utilization review decisions; require urgent care claims to be decided within twenty-four (24) hours; require pre-service claims to be decided within three (3) days; require post-service claims to be decided within thirty (30) days; provide for extensions if the claimant fails to provide sufficient information.
