HB 440 (BR 1462) - F. Nesler
AN ACT relating to gas delivery systems and appliances.
Amend KRS 234.175 to require that installation and maintenance of gas-consuming appliances be in compliance with manufacturer and administrative requirements; limit liability of licensee for damages resulting from nonconforming installation or maintenance.
HB 440 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Clarify that a negligent liquefied petroleum gas licensee is subject to civil liability.
SCS - Retain original provisions, except delete language that clarifies that limitations in bill are not designed to affect liability for grossly negligent or intentional acts.
SFA (1, E. Harris) - Create a new section of KRS Chapter 278 to allow the Public Service Commission to allow for recovery of investment costs in natural pipeline replacement programs that are not currently being recovered in existing rates if those costs are deemed fair, just, and reasonable.
SFA (2/Title, E. Harris) - Make title amendment.
