AN ACT relating to poultry.
Amend KRS 257.400 to delete references to the Kentucky poultry and turkey improvement plans and insert a reference to the National Poultry Improvement Plan or equivalent program; amend KRS 257.410 to delete a reference to the Kentucky Poultry Improvement Association.

HCS - Retain original provisions of the bill except to add a definition of National Poultry Improvement Plan; amend KRS 257.390 to specify that poultry imported into the state for breeding purposes meet the requirements of the National Poultry Improvement Plan or other USDA plan; amend KRS 257.400 to specify that poultry imported into the state for sale meet the requirements of the National Poultry Improvement Plan or other USDA plan; amend KRS 257.410 to clarify poultry plan requirements for poultry flock origination.
