     AN ACT relating to newborn screening.
     Amend KRS 214.155 to permit the Cabinet for Health Services to establish separate fees for expanded newborn screening; require additional newborn screening tests for heritable disorders upon funding and acquisition of equipment and personnel; require the cabinet to enter into agreements with medical schools and laboratories to conduct screening; require the cabinet to apply for any federal funds or grants to expand or improve newborn screening programs.
