HB 52/LM/CI (BR 192) - J. Gray

     AN ACT relating to crimes and punishments.
     Create three new sections of KRS Chapter 510 to criminalize sexual intercourse, deviant sexual intercourse, and sexual contact between school personnel and students; create a new section of KRS Chapter 510 to require reporting to parents of students in a school of incidents where a sex crime has been committed against a student by school personnel; create a new section of KRS Chapter 15 to require the Attorney General to develop an information pamphlet on recognizing the signs of sexual abuse; amend KRS 510.020 to provide that lack of consent is not an element for the offenses created in the first three sections of the bill; amend KRS 510.035 to provide that no offense occurs under sections 1 to 3 of the bill where the parties are married to each other; amend KRS 532.045 to bring sections 1 and 2 of the bill within the list of offenses for which conditional release is not available if certain additional criteria are met.
