AN ACT relating to blood lead testing of children.
Amend KRS 158.035 to require student to present proof of blood lead testing prior to enrollment in any public or private elementary or secondary school; amend KRS 158.037 to require schools to report blood lead test results to local health departments; amend KRS 214.034 to require parents or guardians to have children tested for a blood lead level and have proof presented to schools and day care centers; and amend KRS 214.036 to permit an exemption from blood lead level testing if contrary to child's health or contrary to religious belief.
