HB 158 (BR 1005) - R. Palumbo, B. Farmer, W. Hall

     AN ACT relating to engineers and land surveyors.
     Amend KRS 322.090 to limit engineer and land surveyor reexamination to applicants who have failed no more than two times; require applicants who have failed an examination three or more times to submit a new application that includes evidence that the applicant has acquired additional knowledge and meets the qualifications in effect at the time of the application; direct the board to promulgate administrative regulations specifying the additional knowledge and qualifications that are necessary to apply for reexamination.

     SCS - Retain original provisions, except remove requirement that applicant who has failed an examination 3 or more times provide proof that he or she meets the qualifications for examination in effect at the time of the new application.
