     AN ACT relating to military families.
     Amend KRS 164.515 to exempt a student at a state-supported institution of higher education from payment of tuition and other fees if that student is a family member of a veteran with a 70% or greater service-connected disability.

     HFA (1, T. Pullin) - Delete the requirement that a veteran have a single service-connected disability of 70 percent or greater and require that a veteran have a combined rating of 70 percent or greater for all of his or her service-connected disabilities.
