AN ACT relating to special Purple Heart license plates.
Amend KRS 186.162, regarding fees for special license plates, to exempt Purple Heart plate holders from all registration and renewal fees.

HCS - Delete provisions of original bill, eliminate the $12 state fee for Purple Heart license plates and disabled veterans plates on which the state fee is currently charged; make surviving spouses of Purple Heart recipients eligible for the Purple Heart plate.
