     AN ACT relating to the location of narcotic treatment programs.
     Amend KRS 222.231 to prohibit the Cabinet for Health and Family Services from granting an initial license for a narcotic treatment program if any part of the program or any facility in which it operates is to be located within one-half mile of a public or private licensed child care facility or a public or private school; require a request for initial license to be forwarded to the appropriate local governing body within 15 days; require the local governing body to respond within 30 days as to whether the program will be located within one-half mile of a child care facility or school; and prohibit a program with an existing license from relocating a facility within one-half mile of a child care facility or school.
