     AN ACT relating to accountants.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 325 to require accountants engaged in auditing to secure errors and omissions insurance providing coverage of not less that $300,000; permit the state board of accountancy to obtain a group insurance policy.

HB 363 - AMENDMENTS


     HCS - Amend KRS 43.073 relating to school district audits; KRS 64.810 relating to audits of fiscal courts, county clerks, sheriffs, or emergency audits of those offices; and amend KRS 91A.040 relating to cities required to have an annual or biannual audit; require auditors of these entities or the firm with which the auditor is employed to maintain professional liability insurance in the amount of at least $250,000.
