     AN ACT relating to water well drillers.
     Amend KRS 223.991, relating to water well drillers, to provide for increase in civil penalty for persons who do not comply with certification provisions; amend KRS 223.415 to make changes in the requirements of water well certification board membership.

HB 383 - AMENDMENTS


     HCS - Amend the bill and KRS 223.991 by bracketing and striking through the text that provides that the civil penalty for failing to comply with certification provisions be "for each day during which such violation continues."

     HFA (1, J. Gooch Jr) - Amend KRS 223.991 and the bill to specify that a monetary penalty for certification non-compliance is to be assessed only once per occurrence.
