     AN ACT relating to elections and declaring an emergency.
     Amend KRS 117.255 to create an exception to the two-minute time period allowed for each voter to occupy a voting booth for disabled persons.

     SCS - Retain original provisions; amend KRS 118.125, 118.165, 118.315, 118A.060, and 83A.045 to prohibit signatures for nominations papers from being affixed on the documents to be filed prior to the first Wednesday after the first Monday in November of the year preceding the year in which the office will appear on the ballot; amend KRS 118.227 to require the Secretary of State to certify any changes made to a slate of candidates to the appropriate county clerk, registry, and the state board of elections; amend KRS 117.995 to provide that any person who applies for an absentee ballot on an application, other than a federal postcard application, that was not furnished by the county clerk is guilty of a Class D felony.
