AN ACT relating to forestry.
Amend KRS 149.344 to require the cabinet to immediately order a logger or operator to cease activity and implement corrective measures if the logger or operator has received two past bad actor designations and is violating use of best management practices and is causing water pollution.
HB 450 - AMENDMENTS
HFA (1, H. Collins) - Allow loggers three weeks, rather than one, to correct timber harvesting violations.
HFA (2, J. Comer Jr) - Describe the actions taken by the cabinet if a logger fails to use appropriate best management practices.
